What is the purpose of CarShowCity.com?

CarShowCity.com is a website for Car Enthusiasts, designed to be the most powerful car show search engine on the Net! Our goal is to dramatically increase the attendance of all types of car and motorcycle shows. We make it easy for you to find shows in your area or across the country. We also make it easy and affordable for show promoters to advertise their shows.

Do I need to register to search for car shows?

No. You can use a Quick Search to find shows near you. You can use the Advanced Search to help you find the exact show(s) you are looking for. But there are a number of benefits to registering with CarShowCity.com and becoming a Member.

What are the different types of membership? And how much does it cost?

You can become a Registered Member for nothing. It is absolutely free! A Registered Member can search for shows and manually receive an email or receive a text message on your mobile phone about the shows you've found. A Registered Member can also opt-in to receive our monthly Newsletter that tells you whats new in the Car Show world.

As a registered Member, you can add your car show(s) to our database. Each car show is $9.95. You can upload a PDF of your Registration Form, plus very detailed contact info and show information. You can even add a photo and Google Map Link. In addition, you can link to your show's Website. You can log in anytime to edit the details of your car show. We give you the tools to increase the number of exhibitors and visitors to your event!

You can upgrade to become a Premium Member for only $19.95 per year. As a Premium Member, you can save up to 5 of your favorite searches. When CarShowCity.com finds a new show that meets your specifications, you will receive an email notification or a text message sent to your cell phone. You'll be among the first to find your favorite type of show! And the early bird gets the worm when getting the best deals on acommodations!

A Premium Show Promoter can also accept Exhibitor Registrations using CarShowCity.com. We process your exhibitor's credit cards for you. You can view detailed reports of the cars coming to your show. A 10% fee is charged for each car entered. This Premium level is for the Show Promoter seeking to get the best partcipation from Exhibitors and attendees.

What is a Saved Search? Why would I want create one?

Let's say you really like Duesenbergs. And let's say you only want to see shows in the Southwest part of the country. Furthermore, you only are interested in shows during the spring. With a Saved Search, you can enter all of your search criteria and save them with a named Saved Search. You could call it Duesenbergs in the Spring Time!

Every night, CarShowCity.com searches though its massive database to find the events that you are interested in. When CarShowCity.com finds your show, you'll receive an email or a mobile text message depending on your preferences.

You'll never again say: "How did I miss that show right under my nose?" CarShowCity.com is your personal assistant helping you go to more of the shows you are interested in!

When you are among the first to find out about a Car Show, you have plenty of time to get the best prices on accomodations in that area.

Why can't I find the show I am looking for?

There can be several reasons. First, the show may not yet be in our database. CarShowCity.com is the fastest growing car event database in the world, but it does take time for Show Promoters to get their car shows entered into the database.

Second, CarShowCity.com allows for very specific searches. If you ask for a Ford show in Maine, but you also select the Southwest region of the country, then you're not going to find any shows. You should be careful not to enter in conflicting search rules. Use the fewest possible to obtain the results you want.

A popular search is to request all shows within 100 miles of your ZipCode during the next 2 months. This search would be a good one to save. Remember, you must be a Premium Member to save your favorite searches.

What is a Region?

We've broken down the US into 5 Regions. Each Region can have up to 10 States. Sometimes your favorite type of show may be in a nearby state, but you don't know which one. And you don't know how many miles out that show may be. A Region search will sometimes help you find the perfect car show. It's just one more way to look through our massive database of events.

Caution! Don't ask for a show in a specific State and then specify a Region. It's possible to "lock yourself out" by choosing a State that is not in the same Region. There's not too many shows in Texas and in the Northeast Region!

Is my Payment Information safe with CarShowCity.com?

Yes! We do NOT store any Credit Card information at our facilities. We use the Paypal Payment Gateway to process all of our Membership and Event Listing payments.

Because we do not store or even cache any of your information, you will be asked for your payment info each time you add a car show. We know this can be tedious, but we are looking out for your safety.
